The heavy-duty brushless motor provides efficient power, reliable performance and reduced maintenance compared with conventional brushed motors. Its standard 12.7mm (1/2") square drive is compatible with commonly used impact sockets and is suitable for standard bolts ranging from M10 to M24.
Four selectable torque settings allow the operator to match the machine’s power to the application. Choose between 300Nm, 400Nm, 500Nm and the full 698Nm output for improved control when working with different fastener sizes.
The Smart-Loosen function automatically stops the tool after the fastener has been released, helping prevent loose nuts from spinning away or dropping unexpectedly. Important Usage Information
Always use impact-rated 1/2-inch sockets. Standard chrome hand-tool sockets are not designed to withstand repeated impact forces and may crack or break.
The 698Nm rating refers to the tool’s maximum fastening torque, while the 910Nm nut-busting rating refers to its maximum initial loosening capability. Actual performance may vary depending on the fastener size, corrosion, previous tightening torque, socket condition and battery charge level.
For wheel nuts and other safety-critical fasteners, complete the final tightening using a correctly calibrated torque wrench. An impact wrench should not be used as a substitute for accurate torque measurement.
