Delivery Policy
We offer nationwide delivery across South Africa for orders placed through our online store.
Our aim is to provide reliable, secure and efficient delivery while keeping customers informed throughout the order process.
1. Delivery Areas
We deliver to most residential and business addresses across South Africa.
Delivery availability may depend on the destination, courier coverage, product size, weight and the nature of the product being shipped.
Certain remote or outlying areas may require additional delivery time or additional courier charges.
2. Estimated Delivery Time
Our standard estimated delivery time is generally 2–4 business days from dispatch for most major areas in South Africa.
Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on:
- Delivery destination
- Courier availability
- Product size and weight
- Stock availability
- Public holidays and weekends
- Severe weather or transport disruptions
- Remote or outlying delivery areas
- Other circumstances outside our reasonable control
Where an unavoidable delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to keep the customer informed.
Unless otherwise agreed with the customer, online orders will be fulfilled within the period required by applicable South African law.
3. Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment has been successfully received or confirmed.
Orders placed outside normal business hours, on weekends or on public holidays may only begin processing on the next business day.
Products that are temporarily out of stock, specially ordered or marked as available soon may have a longer lead time. Where applicable, the customer will be informed before dispatch.
4. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated according to the applicable shipping method, destination, order value, product weight and/or product dimensions.
The delivery charge applicable to an order will be displayed during the checkout process before payment is completed.
Large, heavy, oversized or unusually bulky products may require a separate delivery quotation.
5. Heavy & Oversized Products
Certain products, including large workshop equipment, generators, compressors or other heavy equipment, may not qualify for standard courier delivery rates.
Where additional freight or specialised transport is required, we may contact the customer before dispatch to confirm the applicable delivery arrangements and costs.
No additional delivery charge will be imposed after an order has been completed without first informing the customer where required.
6. Collection from Our Alberton Store
Customers may collect qualifying orders directly from our Alberton store where the collection option is available.
Customers should wait for confirmation that the order is ready for collection before travelling to the store.
Valid order confirmation and reasonable proof of identity may be requested when collecting an order.
7. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, contact number and any information reasonably required by the courier.
We are not responsible for delays resulting from incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible delivery information supplied by the customer.
Where a parcel must be redirected or redelivered due to incorrect information supplied by the customer, additional courier charges may apply where permitted.
8. Receiving Your Order
Customers should inspect the parcel as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If the outer packaging appears visibly damaged, customers are encouraged to note the damage with the courier where possible and contact us as soon as possible.
Photographs of the packaging and product may be requested to assist with a courier or damage claim.
9. Damaged or Missing Goods
If an order arrives damaged, incomplete or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with:
- Order number or invoice
- Customer name and contact details
- Photographs of the parcel
- Photographs of the damaged or incorrect product
- Details of any missing items
We will assess the matter and assist in accordance with our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy and applicable South African consumer law.
10. Courier Delays
Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is performed by an independent courier or transport provider.
We will assist customers with reasonable tracking and courier enquiries where a delay occurs.
Courier delays do not remove any statutory consumer rights relating to delivery.
11. Failed Delivery Attempts
If a courier is unable to complete delivery because no authorised person is available, the address is inaccessible, or the delivery details are incorrect, the courier may attempt redelivery or return the parcel.
Additional redelivery charges may apply where the failed delivery resulted from circumstances reasonably attributable to the customer.
12. Order Tracking
Where tracking information is available, customers may receive a tracking number or delivery status notification after the order has been dispatched.
Tracking information is provided by the courier and may not update immediately after collection.
13. Delivery and Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or reduce any consumer right or remedy that may not legally be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act or any other applicable South African legislation.
