Important Usage Information
This model is a driver drill and does not include a hammer-drilling function. It is designed primarily for screwdriving and drilling into wood, steel and other suitable materials.
For regular drilling into brick, masonry or concrete, use a cordless hammer drill or rotary hammer with the correct masonry accessory.
The lower gear provides greater control and torque for driving screws and using larger drill bits. The higher gear is better suited to faster drilling with smaller bits.
